Book Tour: Out of the Blue @PridePromo @rjjonesauthor #mmromance #bookcontest

About RJ Jones: I started as a reader and eventually made the progression to reviewing. It wasn’t until two men pop into my thoughts, insisting on telling me their story that I started to write. It started with one scene. A hot and dirty one in the shower.

My initial thought was if I could write their scene then they’d shut up and allow me to concentrate on other aspects of my day. That shower scene was 3000 words long and three hours of work.  But they didn’t shut up.  They told me their entire story and I didn’t sleep for days.  Sometimes I couldn’t keep up with what they were telling me and I had to keep a notebook by my bed.

Whilst I was writing their story a side character decided he needed his story told too. Then other characters followed suit.

You see the problem? If I ever want to sleep again then I need to write.

I’m a wife and a mother to two boys. Even my dog is a boy.

I am surrounded by males.

We've got blurbage:
When everything happens Out of the Blue

Lt Cameron Cooper has been with the San Francisco Fire Department for fifteen years. He’s seen and dealt with a lot of horrifying situations.  He’s always considered himself mentally tough, but when he attends a multi-vehicle accident and sees a dead boy with features remarkably similar to his long-time boyfriend, his mental health takes a hit.

All Jake Montgomery wants is to propose to his boyfriend on their ten-year anniversary. He’s already bought the perfect rings, but when Cameron struggles to look at him after a tragic accident, he has doubts about their future. Cam is withdrawing, and Jake doesn’t know why.

With heated arguments and cold shoulders, Cam and Jake’s life starts to fall apart. Just when Cam thinks he can overcome his issues and finally talk to Jake, memories from Jake’s past threaten to push them apart forever.

And an exclusive excerpt!:
“Things haven’t been great, to be honest. Something’s… bothering Cam. I guess bothering isn’t the right word but… he’s struggling. Something he saw when he attended that accident has him spooked. I’ve asked him and he’s told me about it but not anything that I didn’t already know from the news reports. There’s a vulnerability about him now I’ve never seen before.”

Remembering the distance that had been between us, my shoulders dropped and I lowered my head.

“He’s having nightmares where he’s completely distraught and screaming my name. The first time it happened, it scared the absolute crap out of me. It still freaks me out. It doesn’t happen every night, and I don’t know if he has them when he’s sleeping during the day. If there’s any mention of a car accident on the TV, he changes channel like he’s Flash Gordon. I can’t imagine what he’s like at work.” Sighing, I looked at my aunt, hoping she had an answer for me.

“What does he say is wrong?”

“He doesn’t. He can’t or won’t tell me what it is. He says he’s scared and he has trouble switching the images off in his head, but he won’t tell me what those images are or why he’s scared. I think he believes he’s supposed to be strong one hundred percent of the time. He hides a lot from me about what he’s seen, but I know he does it to protect me. Cam says he needs time and I’m hoping it’s only time he needs. Being here, though”—I waved my hand, indicating the vineyard—“has helped us remember what we used to be like. But being here has also reminded me of how hard it’s been the last month.”

I must have had a grave look on my face to trigger her next question. “Do you think he’s lying to you?”

“Not lying, per se… more avoiding, I think.”

“Avoiding you?”

“No, he’s not avoiding me, I think he’s more avoiding it. Whatever it is.”

Aunt Cece stopped walking, and cupping my face in her hands, her eyes searched mine. “Problems don’t go away by avoiding them. They’re patient bastards: they’ll wait for you. Keep avoiding them and they’ll invite their friends, and they’ll wait for you too.”

I completely forgot today was Sunday…why didn’t anyone warn me? *heads desk*

But…(!!!!)…since I’m no longer on the Eastern Standard Time I still got this post up on Sunday (albeit very late Sunday)…but it counts, right? Please? Thanks!

So just for a quick rehash…every month the wonderful LeeBrazil and I will be celebrating one of our books each as our chosen book of the month…we will give you snippets all throughout the book, we will discount the book when available and basically just enjoy the book every Sunday :)

My first book to be showcased is a Story Orgy Single The Mama’s Boy…from the Story Orgy Bad Boyfriend Collection.

So, who hasn’t had that bad boyfriend that they really wished would just get boinked over the head and maybe turn out to be the one?

But that never happens, does it? Once bad always bad? Not necessarily true when the Story Orgy steps in…the bad boyfriend has a fighting chance.

Nice thought, right? :)

So…up until tomorrow—3/31 (Monday) you can snap up this novella for 99¢ at Amazon US & Amazon UK.

Story Orgy Singles brings you...
Bad Boyfriends.
The men your mother should've warned you about, but probably didn't.

Donnell Rastnor can’t wait to get to know his co-worker Jaime outside the office. They share a lot of interests in common, and let's face it, Jaime makes Donnell's body sit up and take notice. Donnell just doesn't realize that Jaime is a package deal.

Jaime Dierdon is a good man. But, at the ripe old age of twenty-six, he sees no reason to cut the apron strings of the woman who raised him on her own. So what if he has to postpone certain things because his mom needs him, surely his new boyfriend Donnell will understand.

One of them believes one plus one equals two…so why does the other always come up with three?

Sunday Snippet (NSFW)

Donnell couldn't help himself, Jaime pushed him past the point of caring. Normally he wasn't an exhibitionist, but this man was just too damn good at sucking dick to utter any objections. Fisting the shaggy brown hair tickling his groin, Donnell took over, plunging in and out of those tightly locked lips in earnest. The wet heat enveloping his cock nearly made him shout, but at the last second, he remembered where they were and bit down hard on his plump lower lip. Thank God it wouldn't take long to come with the talent Jaime possessed because he wasn't known for his silence during sex.
Looking down, he swallowed another groan, the sight of Jaime jerking his own thing while Donnell fucked his mouth proved a dangerous temptation. Donnell had to rein in his desire to pound into those lush lips with abandon, it was bad enough he knew his lover's mouth would feel this blow job for a good while after they finished. That thought made his grin turn a bit feral.
Jaime's cheeks blossomed a bright pink as his mouth lightened up on some of the suction, clueing Donnell in that the man was close.
Standing there with Jamie kneeling in front of him, Donnell forgot about the minor issues he'd focused on earlier. Really, how important was it to nail down all his worries when they hadn't even established their type of relationship yet? There was time enough for that later, right now shouldn't he just focus on enjoying the time they spent together and seeing if they were compatible before diving into the deep end?
A hot splash of cum hit Donnell's leg, ripping him out of his ill-timed thoughts and putting him firmly back within moments of his own orgasm. He tried to push Jaime away, signal somehow that he was about to explode since he obviously couldn't talk, but Jaime shook off his hands and swallowed him damn near all the way.
"Fuck…" he mumbled as the heat rose in his body and converged to his dick.
"Jaime? Is that you I saw back here?" A woman's voice invaded Donnell's thoughts just before Jaime roughly jerked off his dick, teeth scraping down the shaft and causing him to grunt in pain.
"Damn," Jaime whispered, then raised his voice, "Yeah, Mom. Don't come back here, we'll be right out."
"Mom?" Donnell followed Jaime's example and shoved his cock back in his shorts, the damn thing throbbing with pain from a combination of needing to unload and the unfortunate teeth issue.
Jaime threw him a lopsided apologetic smile and turned toward the female's voice, but Donnell grabbed his arm and growled. "Please tell me you call all your female friends mom as some sort of sick joke or something."
"Um…no…there's only one mom in my life."
"Trust me, that's all you could handle. I can't believe you took me to your mother's house, and we had sex in her backyard. What kind of shit is that? Who fucking does that?" Donnell started in a low whisper but his voice quickly gained traction with each word he uttered. His earlier thoughts about this whole mama's boy thing not mattering flew right out the window along with any hopes he had of not suffering from blue balls. He couldn't do this, didn't want to expend this type of energy on a woman who wouldn't even be in the relationship. Jaime needed to cut the damn umbilical cord before he went off looking for a real boyfriend.
"Look, Donnell, I wanted to show you the gardens that mom and I worked on. I thought it'd be—"
"So you must be Donnell," a bubbly voice interrupted Jaime's weak attempt at placating Donnell.

Book Tour: As Natural As Breathing @PridePromo @the_weremouse #mmromance #bookcontest

As Natural As Breathing

About Thianna D: Thianna loves to write strong stories with even stronger heroes. While all of her books have an erotic overtone, it is the story that is the most important to her. “The story should be able to stand on its own. The erotic elements are an add-on.”

She enjoys writing about couples with kink, paranormal couples, and straight out strangeness. But more on that later… mm.thiannad.com.

Thianna can run but she can’t hide…find her here:

As Natural As Breathing
All They Ever Needed bk 1
Cover Artist: Anthony Walsh
Publisher: Lazy Day Publishing

Let’s get to know a bit about Thianna:
Favorite subject in school? Why?
I loved English. Yes, you read that right. I think it probably had to do with the fact we had to read and write all the time. Second to English, I loved art classes. Any chance to express myself creatively is a good one.

If you could go anywhere, all expenses paid, where would you go?
Outer space. Seriously. Who doesn’t want to go check out the rest of the galaxy?

List three books you have recently read and would recommend.
Hmm. Feathers from the Sky by Posy Roberts, Mr. Popsalos by Jill Worrall, and Cop Out by KC Burns.

Harry Potter or Twilight?
I think it is difficult to decide between the two because they appeal to two different parts of me. I loved Harry Potter with the magic and the amazing characters. I also loved Twilight, though I will admit, there are also things about that series that make me growl.

What bores you in a book?
The same story being retold over and over again.

We've got blurbage:

Raised in a domestic discipline household, he holds that ideal as what he wants but his interest in spanking became a fetish and when Christian admits that he wants to be spanked, Logan believes he might have found the perfect man.

Just as everything begins for them, Christian’s past intercedes and one of his brothers makes waves about him dating a man. If it weren’t for Logan’s support, he might fold; but with the love of one amazing man, Christian finds that living his life rather than just existing is as natural as breathing.

And a sneak peek:
Dinner was easy, the easiest first date Christian had ever been on. Logan laughed, talked, teased, but it felt like he was with a friend rather than with a date…but then again, that was what he asked for. After two large platters of sushi disappeared between the two of them, they paid and left. “Okay, we can drive or we can walk. The theater is only ten blocks.” Then Logan’s eyes dropped to his leg. “Damn, I forgot about your leg. Maybe we should drive.”

Shaking his head, Christian placed a hand on his arm. “Naw. I walk by the river all the time. I think I’d like to walk.”

Logan watched him, as if trying to make up his mind if Christian meant it or not. When he figured he did, he beamed. “Great. There is this cool piece of art you have got to see.”
